INTRODUCTION 2014

This is my new blog. I feel like I'm new, so, i have been shrugging off old things, old ways, old days, and looking forward towards the new.

I will share odds and ends, and personal views. I've been studying Hebrew and translated the Psalms from the Hebrew Bible. It was very rewarding and amazing. I wish that all Bible schools encouraged the original languages to be learned. Even knowing the fundamentals of Hebrew and Greek are rewarding beyond measure.

Hebrew is amazing. Every letter is it's own world, and I'm not waxing kabballic. I mean it in the way that David used the original language to layer depth and breadth to his songs.

I would like to teach Hebrew for Christians, and am working on that expertise, now, so, I can offer it at my community church nearby. I have been given many gifts, and I feel like I've been hiding them under the bed, so to speak, and not to boast, because, all that we're given comes from God. To deny them, out of false humility, is to deny His work in us, individually.

I would like to encourage these same gifts, as they apply to another individual, so that they can also remove false humility, or fear, and use these gifts to glorify Christ, our LORD.

I've been so imbued with the HEBREW, that the name of Jesus Christ, is glorious, but, the name of Yehushua HaMaschiach, is how he is known in the Psalms. I am floored by how many of David's songs refer to him.

Well, hopefully, I'll have some cool things to say in 2014. My former blogs are in my collection on blogger. I almost feel like deleting them, but, I won't. I would always keep journals, and every five years, throw them all away.
